Our Story

Two decades of passion, craftsmanship, and dedication to preserving the beauty and history of fine furniture.

A Legacy Born from Passion

Chrissys Antiques Shop began as a modest workshop in 2003, founded by Chris McIntosh, a skilled craftsman with an unwavering passion for furniture restoration. What started as a one-person operation has grown into a trusted name throughout Central New York, but our core values remain unchanged.

The journey began when Chris inherited his grandmother's Victorian dining set, a piece that had been in the family for generations but was badly damaged. Rather than replace it, Chris decided to restore it himself. The transformation was so remarkable that friends and neighbors began asking him to restore their family heirlooms.

What started as weekend projects quickly became a full-time dedication to the art of furniture restoration. Today, we honor that same spirit – treating every piece as if it were a cherished family heirloom, regardless of its size or value.
